its already been discussed here a few times. Why not just do it like the hewison or any other championship, overall and classes separate. The current system just doesnt work unless there is a decent entry in all classes, and we all know that wont happen.

The problem with that is a very average driver could win overall...

If someone was in a class by themselves and came last in every test they would get 10 points per round...

That not the class I had in mind.. But if the driver won overall but was in a class of their own maybe 10 points would be OK...

just have a look at the hewison scoring, its not that complicated, overall scoring has nothing to do with classes

As long as every aspect of the event is run fairly, then no-one should have a problem

How does the scoring work?????

For Rnd 2 Simon Echlin won overall so should he not get more points than Liam Cashman in the Overall Experts section Confused Confused

This is the way its been for years.. Not perfect by any means but its all I have to work with...

Scoring
10,9,8 if 4 or more starters in class
9,8,7 if 3 starters in class
8 if 1 or 2 starters in class

Piers, do you have a rough idea of when round 5 will be held? I'm not sure I'll be fit for round 4 next month and if round 5 is shortly after that I guess I can write off the year.
