The main reason for the decision is the lack of suitable venues to run selectives – at least venues which were not looking for large payment for their use!
I had spent many hours inspecting and reviewing prospective venues and found it far more difficult than I had anticipated to find suitable locations.
Hopefully we may be in a position to revisit running such an event at sometime in the future"
