If you want to help out on 26 August |
|
Marshals always needed. You do not need any experience! If you wish we can place you with experienced people, so you get
First rate view of the action, and
The satisfaction of helping a deserving charity, and
refreshments during the day and a BBQ to finish.

Few updates / Final Instructions 0 : Trish may be absent in person but her spirit is still central :
An entry is an entry when it is paid.
A completed form unacompanied by wherewithal is a piece of (e-)paper : it is not an entry.
We intend not to deal with cash on the day; memberships and IRDS surcharges excepted.
Consider the landowners : and if in doubt pre-check with Declan that your (knobbly) tyres are permitted.
New issue of concern : Passengers and CPA : TDC rule for the day is minimum age 14.
More to follow closer to the day
Tim

Jesus give us a min I had to get budget approval which requires 4 signatures ( my wife and 3 kids) budget approval has been given so then I had to apply to the finance controller to transfer funds from our off shore account to the domestic account and then to pay pal account. All of this takes time .
Anyway entry now properly sent
Just need to decide on a car

Truth !
In real life I am Institute of Tax qualified : most of this offshore shite actually breaks the Irish Tax Law. Anyone who tells you different wont stand over their advice and depends on a non-discoverable trail : but it still don't make it tax compliant ! ! !
Just one thing ! : C U on the day !

Are the latest committee members of TDC stupid and not see if they don't let young people get involved that in years to come when they move on there will be nobody to do events. Why do different clubs have different rules for Passengers ????????

[U]DEPOSITS ACCEPTED
Having considered matters, and received input from a number of sources, Declan has led a decision to accept entries with deposit payments, rather than full payment in advance.
It is a sign of the times we are in, and noticable in other events also, that there simply isn't the same amounts of free cash as previously. ( Economic commentaries won't be debated, here. TF)
If you could let us have the entry forms and some sort of deposit, these entries will be accepted and included on the list ( see seperate post for list ).
We hope this assists people in entering the event.
Tim
P.S. Don't forget your IRDS / BRDS letters requirement, especially if you haven't needed it so far this year. There should still be time to get it processed
