24th July 2010 Summer lanes Rally

The QUBMC Summer Lanes Rally 2010 will be held on 24th July, based in the Ballymac Hotel, Stoneyford. The event will consist of timed trials on surfaced lanes and is designed to give maximum stage miles with minimum road miles.

Well done to JJ Farrell who won today, Colin Earney was second, followed closely by the Rover of Karl O'Donoghue. Daniel Byrne & Richard Pain took forth spot in their Starlet and another TDC crew, Bernard Bradley & Vincent Fagan in the Escort Mark 1 were 5th. Craig O Rourke and Ronan O' Neill were a fine 6th. Frank Lenehan was going very well all day and was in the running but he unfortunately missed a code board in the afternoon and this dropped him down to 8th.Well done & congratulations to everyone and I hope there is not too much slagging going on in the Byrne / Lenehen household tonight!
